In an effort to combat corrosion, Mr. Mahesh Shah initially started the business of manufacturing of
PVC and FRP-fabricated articles in a very small way by having rented premises of 500 sq.ft. area in an
industrial estate situated in Mumbai. Hard work and sincere efforts succeeded, which resulted in getting
more orders and started feeling short of place due to high production. Within a period of less than a
year we shifted to a small unit of 5000 sq.ft. at Vidyavihar, Mumbai and registered as Partnership Firm
in the name of “POLY PLAST”.

Bought our own plot in Andheri MIDC and built a factory over there admeasuring 15000 sq.ft. and
continued production at Vidyavihar as well as at Andheri. Started manufacturing of Storage Tanks which
are available in capacity ranging from 1m to 300m. Generally tanks upto 80m capacity made at our factory
and beyond that are made at customers site.

Partners form another Company in the name of Amsons Steel Private Limited with the additional business
of Construction for diversification.

POLY PLAST manufactures Process/Reaction Vessels of different sizes and shapes as per customers
specifications, ranging from 200 Ltr. to 30,000 Ltr. capacity with conical, dished or flat bottom and
top.

In 1991, the Partnership Firm was converted into ‘Private Limited Company’ for further expansion of its
operations and business in India as well as in Global Market. Therefore, the Company started its
operations in the name of ‘POLY PLAST CHEMI-PLANTS (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED’.

Mr. Rahul Lalit Shah, was appointed as the Director of the Company and The Company started a new journey
under the leadership of Mr. Rahul Lalit Shah.
